Prezi
The online
application, Prezi, is similar to Microsoft PowerPoint, due to the fact that it
is designed to create visual presentations with animations and other visual and
audio aids, such as videos and music and or sound effects. Prezi has a nearly
infinite number of possible uses, and can be used by almost any type of job or
person, with or without prior use of the software, or training in similar
software.
Prezi is
often used in schools because of the simplicity of the software and how much
nicer it appears over PowerPoint. Both teachers and students use the software
and both sides enjoy the flexibility and usefulness of the software.
Businesses
also find many uses for Prezi, for graphs, videos, charts, and product
presentations. Prezi makes things much more attractive then PowerPoint ever did,
due to PowerPoint’s limited possibilities and functions. Prezi can also be used
for some entertainment purposes, such as videos and music lyric slides, though
not very often used.
